2 COMMITS / 1 STILL ON THE BOARDCommitted to Texas Tech on November 20, 2025. Named as an Ohio State flip target; Ohio State had an official visit on the calendar for May 29, 2026 (On3 / Rivals, Hunter Shelton, April 7, 2026).
Reporting: Eleven Warriors, July 6, 2026
A recruit who chose elsewhere counts toward nothing above. He is here because the reporting on how a position emptied is usually a name.
What we have written about the wide receiver job at Ohio State, beyond this class:
Fourteen of the 18 high schools carrying an Ohio State 2027 pledge won on September 25, and none lost. Jamier Brown caught a 16-yard touchdown pass in Wayne's 49-24 win at Northmont, and Millbrook's game with Rolesville stopped at 10-10 with its overtime not yet played.
Sixteen of the 18 high schools carrying an Ohio State 2027 pledge played on September 17 or 18, and 14 won. Massillon beat St. Edward 23-21 when Malone broke up a Hail Mary on the final play, and Jamier Brown scored twice in Wayne's overtime win.
Sixteen of the 18 high schools carrying an Ohio State 2027 pledge played on September 10 or 11, and 13 of them won. Five won by shutout, Jamier Brown scored three times in Wayne's first win, and Eli Johnson's Steele tied Lake Travis 28-28 when lightning stopped the game.
How this reads: every wide receiver above is grouped by the position board.json lists for him, the same grouping the needs page counts and the commit board publishes. Nothing on this page is a new claim: it is the same verified rows, gathered by position instead of by date. Ratings and national ranks carry the date they were read on each recruit's profile.
Looking for another position? The full picture is on 2027 recruiting needs, and every profile on the board is listed at 2027 recruits.
