Ohio State has 1 quarterback committed in its 2027 class. No other name at the position is still on the board. Every name below links to its full profile, and every fact comes from the verified commit board.
1 COMMIT / 0 STILL ON THE BOARDNo quarterback a named outlet has tied to Ohio State is uncommitted today. The full watch list is on the commit board.
A recruit who chose elsewhere counts toward nothing above. He is here because the reporting on how a position emptied is usually a name.
What we have written about the quarterback job at Ohio State, beyond this class:
Eleven Warriors counts 15 notable visitors for Saturday's noon Big Ten opener. Thirteen are juniors, one is a sophomore, and the only 2027 names are men already committed, led by quarterback Brady Edmunds on his first trip back this season.
Ohio State's 2027 quarterback left his UCLA official visit thinking he was going to be a Bruin. Two weeks later his father texted him from a hotel lounge in Columbus, and he says the answer was yes right there. He did not say it publicly until July 23.
The four-star from Huntington Beach spent his summer weighing a flip to UCLA. He says he is staying and plans to sign with Ohio State in December, a day after the class lost its top running back target.
How this reads: every quarterback above is grouped by the position board.json lists for him, the same grouping the needs page counts and the commit board publishes. Nothing on this page is a new claim: it is the same verified rows, gathered by position instead of by date. Ratings and national ranks carry the date they were read on each recruit's profile.
Looking for another position? The full picture is on 2027 recruiting needs, and every profile on the board is listed at 2027 recruits.
