Monshun Sales picks Indiana, and Ohio State misses on the No. 1 receiver in 2027
He is the first composite five-star Indiana has ever signed up, and he was no longer expected to pick the Buckeyes. The 2027 receiver room still has its own five-star, and a flip target left on the board.
Jordan Donahoo gave Ohio State its second 2027 receiver. It still has not found a third.
The Oviedo, Florida three-star picked the Buckeyes on June 27, a month after the offer arrived. Eleven Warriors named the next two targets that same afternoon: Monshun Sales chose Indiana on July 17, and Benny Easter Jr. is still pledged to Texas Tech.
Monshun Sales announced Friday, and Ohio State was no longer the favorite
The five-star receiver chose between Ohio State, Alabama, Indiana, LSU and Texas at noon on July 17. He was the first of three decisions in six days, and Ole Miss had quietly joined the race for David Gabriel Georges.
