The email edition
The Scarlet Wire
Commits drop at 9 PM on a Tuesday. The Scarlet Wire is how you hear about it: every commit alert, visit note and board move from the 2027 and 2028 classes, sourced and dated.
- 01 Commit alerts with sourcing, not guesses
- 02 Board moves and rankings math, explained
- 03 Free. Unsubscribe anytime.
This is what lands in your inbox
Not a mock-up. The frame below is the real edition, built by the same sender that mails it: one story off the top of the wire, then the leaders of the 2027 commit board, sourced and dated. It rebuilds every time we publish, so this is today's.

The recruiting cycle does not wait for you to check the site. Officials get booked, boards move, and flip rumors start in group chats you are not in.
The Scarlet Wire is our email edition: every commit alert, visit note, rankings move and board update from Ohio State's recruiting trail, written the way we write everything, sourced and fast. When there is nothing worth your inbox, we do not send. That is the whole pitch.
Everything in it traces to a named outlet and a date, the same way the commit board and the stories do. If we cannot source it, it does not go out.
Free forever. Unsubscribe any time. No spam, only scarlet.
