What we have written about the edge rusher job at Ohio State, beyond this class:
Wyatt Smith blocked Chaminade-Madonna's go-ahead field goal with 1:23 left, and St. Thomas Aquinas won 21-20 in the week's meeting of two schools with Ohio State 2027 pledges. Nine of the 14 class schools that played on October 2 won.
Ohio State's top-rated 2027 commit was in Knoxville for Tennessee's game against Texas on the day the Buckeyes opened Big Ten play. It was billed as his younger brother's visit. On Tuesday Rivals wrote that Tennessee is the program working hardest to flip him, and 247Sports' visit log has not entered the trip.
Ohio State's highest-rated pledge was in Athens for Georgia's whiteout while the Buckeyes were losing at Texas. Land-Grant Holy Land called the trip official. His 247Sports player page entered it the other way, and the counter beside it still reads one, Ohio State, June 12.
How this reads: every edge rusher above is grouped by the position board.json lists for him, the same grouping the needs page counts and the commit board publishes. Nothing on this page is a new claim: it is the same verified rows, gathered by position instead of by date. Ratings and national ranks carry the date they were read on each recruit's profile.
Looking for another position? The full picture is on 2027 recruiting needs, and every profile on the board is listed at 2027 recruits.
