Kellan Hall will not be at Ohio Stadium for Maryland on Saturday after all. Caleb Houser of Land-Grant Holy Land reported Thursday that Hall, “who was originally expected to be in Columbus this weekend for an unofficial visit, has reportedly pushed his trip back to Ohio State’s regular-season finale against Michigan.”
Ohio State’s own schedule page has that game on Saturday, November 28, at noon in Columbus.
Hall is a defensive lineman at Christian Academy of Louisville in Kentucky. His 247Sports page, read Wednesday, has him at 0.9988 in the Composite: No. 2 nationally, No. 1 among defensive linemen and No. 1 in Kentucky in the class of 2028. It counts 30 offers, no commitment and no Crystal Ball predictions.
What the report says about Ohio State
Houser writes that Hall “is still planning to make the trip,” and reads the move as no loss for the Buckeyes: “the change in plans doesn’t appear to be a setback in Ohio State’s pursuit.” That is a writer’s read of a schedule change, and it is printed here as one. Nobody has reported a reason for the change, and nothing in Thursday’s piece says where Ohio State stands with him.
What changes on this site
This site reported the October 10 date twice: on September 3, off Gene Ross’s August 31 report for Land-Grant Holy Land, and on Wednesday, off Dan Hessler’s October 6 preview. Both stories stay as they were filed, and both now point here. The 2028 board’s timeline and the site’s calendar feed carry the November 28 date in place of October 10.
Thursday’s report says nothing about Jamarcus Johnson, the other 2028 defensive lineman in Wednesday’s story. His Maryland date stands as Lettermen Row and Land-Grant Holy Land reported it.
What we did not read
The X post embedded in Houser’s article was not opened and is not cited. Hall goes on no pledge list: the 2028 board admits commitments and nothing else, and a visit date is reported coverage, not a claim about where he lands.
